Retractable Power Tower VM01
The VM01 power tower is part of the retractable power tower family and is the solution for distributing, in total safety, electric energy and other services, such as water, compressed air, data transmission and sound systems.
The unit has an AISI304 stainless steel, or AISI316L on demand, structure and has two fronts available for electrical equipment and for the installation of valves for air and / or water distribution.
This type of power towers allows to optimize the outdoors and indoors, taking advantage of every available centimeter and avoiding the installation of fixed architectural barriers: it is possible to opt for a stainless steel manhole cover that can be filled to maximise its camouflage when is closed.
The VM01 model proved to be useful in different contexts, such as: market areas, squares, historic centers, municipal parks, bridges, car parks, parking areas for campers, hotels, swimming pools, soccer fields, sports centers, amusement and theme parks, workshops, railway and underground stations, airports, hangars, maintenance centers, warehouses, industrial sites, roads and highways ... and much more!

Case study
Our products have proved their worth for the optimization of the spaces inside the red cross hangar in Nuremberg.
Specifically, VM01 retractable power towers were installed, with the task to facilitate airplanes maintenance work.
The possibility of storing the instrumentation when it is not necessary allows more space and to work in greater safety, obviating the problem of fixed architectural installations and barriers.
The retractable supply unit VM01 can also be installed outdoors.
This is the case of the Chelsea Stadium, where it was preferred to opt for a filled manhole cover, increasing the camouflage of the unit when it's not used and allowing it to blend in with the grass of the field.
This type of unit is also recommended for city squares where worldly events and fairs are held: the possibility of extracting the supply unit only when necessary, prevents the misuse of services and vandalism, as well as preserving the architectural style of historic city centers.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Retractable power tower, model VM01 from the “Urban Technology” line of New VMR S.r.l., for the distribution of energy and other services, made of press-bent AISI304 stainless steel painted RAL 1021 with two sides available for mounting electrical equipment and two sides for water taps or the compressed air outlets.
The sliding of the unit is ensured by self-lubricating polythene guides. Manual lifting thanks to the worm screw system and by its turning handle or special accessory to mount on an electric drill; or, only on demand and if it is possible, the unit may also come with a semi-automatic lifting ensured by gas rams and release key.
